Walter,

Great to see you at the Vietnam anniversary activities here in NYC - sorry we didn't get to talk. We are feeling very good about both the teach-in and the evening celebration...and we have gotten a lot of very positive feedback.

But there is a problem. That is, we didn't raise enough money. Even though we managed to do all of this on a relatively small budget, we still found ourselves about $2,000 short of what was needed. Of course, we also had hoped to have enough money to cover our bills and make a donation to Vietnam for their Agent Orange fund.

I am contacting you now to see if there is anyway you might be able to help out with an additional donation. We know you already gave $...... - and that is very appreciated - but like I said, we need to raise more money. Whatever you might be able to do would be great! As before, checks should be made out to The Brecht Forum, with a notation that it is for the Vietnam anniversary, and mailed to:

Vietnam Peace 25th Anniversary Committee
c/o The Brecht Forum
122 West 27th Street - 10th floor
New York, NY 10001

Thanks in advance for whatever you can do!!

peace,
Leslie
